My wife dealt with Lisa for the original information and quote. As she had discovered Prestige did duct cleaning as well as rug & upholstery, Lisa was very helpful, patient and thorough at informing us of the different costs associated with the duct cleaning as well as the carpet and upholstery cleaning costs. We actually decided to use Prestige for both duct cleaning and the rug/upholstery cleaning and we were glad we did. It was well organized as the duct cleaning crew were in first and as they were almost done, slightly ahead of schedule, the rug/upholstery crew arrived. There were also all prepped with COVID safety precautions in place and were courteous and informative. They were methodical in their process and were respectful, clean and worked very quickly. They were done in approximately 2 hours from set up to clean up. For rug, upholstery as well as duct cleaning, this is a professional outfit to deal with and worth the money. I have now used this company multiple times over a few years. Staff are so professional and friendly from the receptionist to the technicians. They call for a 2 hour window, they are wearing masks and booties, to protect you and your home. The techs helped me get my rug out from underneath a sectional. They are really great. And good value as well. I send my carpets for cleaning each spring as I have pets and live in the country. Won’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend this company. Thanks Prestige!

I had called around to a few companies and was very impressed with Nancy on the phone and her knowledge and professionalism. She gave me a quote and we went with it. Thankfully someone cancelled and she was able to squeeze me in a lot sooner which she knew was important to me. She sent over Marcus who did a phenomenal job! My carpets are 12 years old and they look fantastic. I have 4 kids, a dog and try to keep a clean home, but life happens. Thankfully, Marcus reversed some of the life that happened in my home since the last time I got my carpets cleaned (6 years ago). My white carpets are beautiful again thanks to you guys. I will use them again when needed and really felt that Marcus worked incredibly hard on a really hot day to get my carpets beautiful again. Thanks again

Marc and Dylan arrived exactly in the middle of the two-hour time frame they'd given us yesterday. They wore ties! They also wore masks and were careful to keep their distance, and they had the booties to cover their shoes. They showed us pictures of how bad things were in the basement as we have a golden retriever. We were happy to add a few items to the basic cleaning because the ducts hadn't been cleaned for a while, and they were very much in need of it. We also saw the "after" pictures. We believe we got good value. it was quite a big job, we thought, but they completed it in about an hour. Very pleasant workers too. We're very content with the job they did. We've used Prestige before for carpet and sofa cleaning and have been very satisfied; we've told friends and will continue to do so.

Dylan and Joel were on time and answered all our question to our satisfaction. Pics before and after was good. I would advise anyone to clean their dryer ducts which is additional but well worth the cost. They did their job in a reasonable amount of time, no rush. Their attire speaks of their professionalism, shirt and tie plus booties, that's something. Good value and quality work. Thanks Dylan and Joel, you guys give the duct cleaning profession a pleasant experience. Will surely recommend your company to our friends.

As I had never had my ducts cleaned, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I chose Prestige because of their reputation and they are based in my town of Whitby. No wonder they win awards every year. The two technicians were on time, polite, and answered all my questions thoughtfully. They showed me photos of the ducts. They wore covers over their shoes and masks. Every handle/surface they touched, they cleaned. I am delighted with the service Prestige provided. I will certainly call them again and would highly recommend them.

This is my second duct cleaning with Prestige and I am very impressed. Dylan and Joel did a great job! Just like the first time, the two technicians today were really thorough with their cleaning. It's not just a simple suction. They use tools to go through the entire duct system and agitate the sides of the ducts to shake off dust, debris, etc. They also vacuum all vent covers and vacuum up any debris that appears around the vents. I'm consistently impressed with their attention to detail. I'll give an example. Dylan was cleaning an air intake upstairs. He and I noticed that there was a lot of old wiring that is kept in the intake (cable cords, old TV antenna cord, stereo cables.) After he was done, he took the time to roll up all the old wiring and tie it together so that it would like nice and clean if someone were to look into the air intake. I'm sure that no one other than myself would care to look in there. But the fact that they went to that degree speaks volumes to me. That is why Prestige is my go-to company for duct cleaning and that is why I'll use them again. I highly recommend them!

Very impressed with this Carpet Cleaning service! When I first called and spoke to the sales person who booked my clean, she really did her best to fit in the clean to my difficult schedule. Really liked how the dispatch person called to remind us of the cleaning date and called again to let me know they were going to be delayed. Cleaner arrived promptly. Josh was professional, friendly and very personable. He was efficient, conscientious, thorough and just seemed to care about the job he was doing. Carpets look refreshed and really clean. Brian and Joel just left my Mother's condo after doing a fantastic job! Friendly, careful, and hard working, everything was perfect. I don’t write a lot of reviews but I must say that the service was Fantastic!! I was notified and confirmed two Days prior to the cleaning and they even contacted me 10 mins before they came. I was ready to replace my white carpets, there was black filtration around all of the walls in every bedroom and they were starting to show wear but desired to give cleaning them one more try. Mark and Jeff suggested a treatment that they claimed would eliminate most of the filtration and would help to bring the worn up and drop gave it a shot. I was so impressed with the result, the carpets looked like new. Not only did they get rid of the filtration but also completely removed two large rust spots from one of the bedrooms. These two guys were on time, extremely professional and friendly and did an excellent job in a very timely manner. Thanks so much for my near new looking carpets!!!

I was very pleased with prestige duct cleaning from the moment I called. Very quick turn around for appointment. Called Saturday and appointment on Wednesday. Marc and Josh were polite and informative from the time they entered my house and put on their little booties. They were very efficient and didn't mind explaining the process when I asked. I liked how they covered the floor while they worked and cleaned up in every area they worked on. Very personable. I would highly recommend the company for duct cleaning.

Mark and Dylan were the technicians assigned to our home. They were punctual and were very efficient. They were very accommodating in answering questions & they were clearly knowledgeable about the work that they do. They always asked for permission to do a step of the scope of their work and they always explain what they were working on and why they needed to do it. These are the pics from before Prestige came and cleaned our ducts. Excellent service would highly recommend! Marc and Dylan took the time to explain what they were doing and provide advice on how to maintain the HVAC system post-cleaning, all while being very neat in the house. Very noticeable difference in the indoor air quality right away! I feel much more comfortable with my furnace and heating system now, it had been about 10 years since we had any work done on the vents. The service is pricey but I get why now.. They do top quality work! Thanks 🙂

When I initially called I was concerned they wouldn’t be able to accommodate my couch & chair cleaning before Christmas. I spoke with Lisa who was exceptionally helpful, easily arranged an appointment that fit into my schedule (before Christmas) and provided a firm price. A few days later she phoned again to confirm and then another reminder the day before. Joel arrived on time, was super pleasant and went right to work... dogs, kids and time take a toll on furniture but Joel made everything look new again! He placed drop cloths from door to furniture, bumpers around the bench in my hallway to ensure it wasn’t damaged by the hoses and he scrubbed my couches clean and ensured my satisfaction before even packing up his supplies. I couldn’t be more pleased from start to finish. Thank you Joel - Merry Christmas to you and your family!

We were very pleased with the service Prestige provided. We have our own carpet cleaner, but figured it was time for the experts. Marcus had cleaned the carpet of a friend of ours and we were so impressed that we requested Marcus to also do ours. Was called with an approx. eta which was nice. The manner in which this service was provided could not have been better. He was very careful with the walls, furniture etc and spent extra time on the bad sections of the carpet that needed attention. Would recommend this company for sure.

We always deal with this carpet cleaning company, even when we lived in a different village. They do an excellent job and I think the prices are reasonable. We have multiple pets and sometimes there are accidents. They get the carpets clean and smelling fresh. Absolutely no complaints. The staff are all very friendly also and they deliver when they say they will.

I called Prestige a few days before my move and they were able to accommodate me in short notice. Our technician, Jake, was very friendly, courteous and professional. He took the time to explain what he was doing, and he explained about how if we have any problems at all, to call and Prestige will make it right. We had multiple stains because of previous owners' pets, and the carpet smelled like 'dog'. Our carpets now look and smell fantastic! I highly recommend Prestige - thank you Jake!

Marcus M. and James S. came to provide cleaning for the basement carpet and stairs leading to it. From the time they both entered into my home to the time they completed the job and left, they showed great professionalism and excellent customer service. They took the time to carefully protect my wood flooring prior to going to the basement, where the actual cleaning took place. James arrived at the scheduled time. Looking very dapper and neat in his uniform. He introduced himself and was very courteous and professional as well. He went through the work to be done and then asked if he could see the areas to be cleaned. He then proceeded to put down drop clothes to protect the wood floor from the possibility of being scratched. He started upstairs and came down to show me a picture of an area half done and half not done, so I could see the difference. After the work was done, he explained how long it should take to dry and to open windows if I wanted to allow for airflow to help with the drying process. Also, if I were to walk on the carpet, not to wear black socks. He cleaned up, the payment process was easy and James was on his way to his next location.

Why should I choose professional upholstery cleaning?
Dust, dirt in the air and on clothing settle into upholstery and carpet. Regular use of furniture causes these almost invisible soil particles to penetrate deeper than a regular vacuum or personal steam cleaner can extract. Over time, soil particles degrade the fibres of your upholstery, causing permanent damage and decreased appearance.
My furniture has some removable covers – why not just put them in the washing machine?
Your washing machine & laundry detergent are not designed for properly cleaning the designer fabrics used for furniture. Zippered cusions are designed this way so that the foam or cushion can be replaced when it wears out, not so that the cover can be washed at home. Professional furniture cleaning provides a thorough clean without fading, shrinkage and damage to the shape or fabric. Furthermore, when you clean just the cushion covers the rest of the furniture will not match the clean cushions.
Will professional upholstery cleaning remove the protective coating applied when I bought my furniture?
Over time all fabric protectors lose effectiveness, with or without cleaning. If your furniture was purchased more than 2 years ago or is clearly showing signs of soiling, professional upholstery cleaning is recommended. Cleaning will remove what is left of the protectant that was applied when you bought your furniture. We are a certified applicator of 3M Scotchgard ™ Fabric Protector, the worlds leading fabric protection system.
Can you do anything to eliminate strong odours in my furniture?
In addition to Scotchgard ™ which is applied following your cleaning, we also offer Advanced Generation Deodorizer™, which is applied prior to the cleaning and works to disinfect the upholstery, remove odours and leave a pleasant light citrus scent. For biological stains and odours, we recommend application of an enzyme based product called Bio-Treat ™. Bio-Treat ™ is applied following your cleaning and the active formula works over the next 24 to 48 hours to actually digest any residual organic material and stains, improving the appearance and the smell.

One or two days prior to your appointment, we will telephone you to confirm all of your details, including your cleaning address and your order. If you have any questions before then, please feel free to telephone us or contact us.
Before We Arrive:
1) Pre-Vacuum – furniture captures a lot of dust, dirt and hair. Much as you would vacuum or sweep a hard floor before mopping or cleaning, it is very important that your furniture is thoroughly pre vacuumed before we clean it. This can make a huge difference in cleaning results!
2) Preparing Your Space – please move all lamps, plants and breakables that might get in the way of access of all sides of the furniture before we arrive and make sure that the areas to be cleaned are clear of additional items (throw pillows & blankets, etc.).
On the Day of Cleaning:
1) Time – If your appointment is scheduled for the morning, you will be called the previous business day with your narrowed down time of arrival, if you have an appointment scheduled for the afternoon, you will get a call between 10 am and 11 am the day of your cleaning with your narrowed down time.
2) Parking – we require legal, paved parking within 30 feet of the entrance of your home.
3) Payment – we accept debit and all major credit cards. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept personal cheques or cash.

Immediately After Cleaning:
Pay Attention to Drying
After cleaning your upholstered furniture will be slightly damp for up to 24 hours, depending on the temperature, air flow and humidity in your home. You can help speed up the drying process by keeping throw pillows or blankets off of damp furniture, running fans, including the summer fan on your furnace, opening windows (in summer) and keeping the area warm. If your furniture is not dry within a day, please contact us.
Spots & Stains
When stains have soaked thoroughly into upholstery, they often spread below the surface into the foam or batting, and cleaning can cause residues to “wick up”, causing stains to reappear or even appear larger after cleaning. If you have any concerns with reappearing stains, or any of the results of your cleaning, even after everything has dried, please telephone us.
Regular Maintenance – Tips for Keeping Upholstery Looking Great
Vacuum thoroughly: Although it may not be obvious, dust and dirt settle into your upholstery from the air and every day use. Vacuuming your furniture thoroughly with the furniture attachment of your vacuum helps to keep your furniture looking great longer. How frequently you should vacuum is based on how much dust is in the home and how much the furniture is used.
Spot Clean: If you have a small spill or spot, clean it carefully and quickly, while it is still wet, following our stain guide. Use an absorbent material such as paper or cotton towels to absorb as much as possible. If there is a large volume of liquid, we recommend calling a professional, as it will be difficult to extract on your own.

Why should I choose professional upholstery cleaning?
Dust, dirt in the air and on clothing settle into upholstery and carpet. Regular use of furniture causes these almost invisible soil particles to penetrate deeper than a regular vacuum or personal steam cleaner can extract. Over time, soil particles degrade the fibres of your upholstery, causing permanent damage and decreased appearance.
My furniture has some removable covers – why not just put them in the washing machine?
Your washing machine & laundry detergent are not designed for properly cleaning the designer fabrics used for furniture. Zippered cusions are designed this way so that the foam or cushion can be replaced when it wears out, not so that the cover can be washed at home. Professional furniture cleaning provides a thorough clean without fading, shrinkage and damage to the shape or fabric. Furthermore, when you clean just the cushion covers the rest of the furniture will not match the clean cushions.
Will professional upholstery cleaning remove the protective coating applied when I bought my furniture?
Over time all fabric protectors lose effectiveness, with or without cleaning. If your furniture was purchased more than 2 years ago or is clearly showing signs of soiling, professional upholstery cleaning is recommended. Cleaning will remove what is left of the protectant that was applied when you bought your furniture. We are a certified applicator of 3M Scotchgard ™ Fabric Protector, the worlds leading fabric protection system.
Can you do anything to eliminate strong odours in my furniture?
In addition to Scotchgard ™ which is applied following your cleaning, we also offer Advanced Generation Deodorizer™, which is applied prior to the cleaning and works to disinfect the upholstery, remove odours and leave a pleasant light citrus scent. For biological stains and odours, we recommend application of an enzyme based product called Bio-Treat ™. Bio-Treat ™ is applied following your cleaning and the active formula works over the next 24 to 48 hours to actually digest any residual organic material and stains, improving the appearance and the smell.

One or two days prior to your appointment, we will telephone you to confirm all of your details, including your cleaning address and your order. If you have any questions before then, please feel free to telephone us or contact us.
Before We Arrive:
1) Pre-Vacuum – furniture captures a lot of dust, dirt and hair. Much as you would vacuum or sweep a hard floor before mopping or cleaning, it is very important that your furniture is thoroughly pre vacuumed before we clean it. This can make a huge difference in cleaning results!
2) Preparing Your Space – please move all lamps, plants and breakables that might get in the way of access of all sides of the furniture before we arrive and make sure that the areas to be cleaned are clear of additional items (throw pillows & blankets, etc.).
On the Day of Cleaning:
1) Time – If your appointment is scheduled for the morning, you will be called the previous business day with your narrowed down time of arrival, if you have an appointment scheduled for the afternoon, you will get a call between 10 am and 11 am the day of your cleaning with your narrowed down time.
2) Parking – we require legal, paved parking within 30 feet of the entrance of your home.
3) Payment – we accept debit and all major credit cards. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept personal cheques or cash.

Immediately After Cleaning:
Pay Attention to Drying
After cleaning your upholstered furniture will be slightly damp for up to 24 hours, depending on the temperature, air flow and humidity in your home. You can help speed up the drying process by keeping throw pillows or blankets off of damp furniture, running fans, including the summer fan on your furnace, opening windows (in summer) and keeping the area warm. If your furniture is not dry within a day, please contact us.
Spots & Stains
When stains have soaked thoroughly into upholstery, they often spread below the surface into the foam or batting, and cleaning can cause residues to “wick up”, causing stains to reappear or even appear larger after cleaning. If you have any concerns with reappearing stains, or any of the results of your cleaning, even after everything has dried, please telephone us.
Regular Maintenance – Tips for Keeping Upholstery Looking Great
Vacuum thoroughly: Although it may not be obvious, dust and dirt settle into your upholstery from the air and every day use. Vacuuming your furniture thoroughly with the furniture attachment of your vacuum helps to keep your furniture looking great longer. How frequently you should vacuum is based on how much dust is in the home and how much the furniture is used.
Spot Clean: If you have a small spill or spot, clean it carefully and quickly, while it is still wet, following our stain guide. Use an absorbent material such as paper or cotton towels to absorb as much as possible. If there is a large volume of liquid, we recommend calling a professional, as it will be difficult to extract on your own.
