Inbound Duct Cleaning – Script

I would be happy to help you with an estimate. Our duct cleaning package is $(applicable price) for the first 10 vents in your home. Each additional vent above 10 is just $12.75 per vent. Do you happen to know how many vents you have or the square footage of your home? I can base your estimate off that information.

Cx gives you a number of vents. (Example: 15 Vents):
We ensure a thorough cleaning of the entire air handling system including all of the supply all of the returns and any vents in the basement. Did you include those into your count of 15 as well? Add them, if not.

Cx give you the square footage of their home. (Example 1500 Sq ft):
With a 1500 square foot home, there would be approximately 15 vents in your home. We estimate one vent for every 100 square.

Cx is unsure of vent count and square footage:
That’s Okay. How many bedrooms does your home have?
It is now up to your to determine roughly how larger their home is.
All houses are different so, you can only guess based on the size.
Houses will roughly have: 2 Bedrooms (15 vents) 3 Bedrooms (20 vents) 4 Bedrooms (25 vents)
Remember to keep it simple. We want it to be easy to do business with us.

Once a Number of Vents is Determined:
I will quote you for (predicted vent count) vents. However, once our technicians arrive, they will do a thorough walk through with you and count each and every vent, including all of the supply, returns and any vents in the basement. If you happen to have any more or any less, the price will adjust by just $12.75 per vent.

With our duct cleaning package at (price) and you (# of vents) at $12.75 each, your estimated total for the cleaning is only (total) including your waste handling, energy and HST. This package consists of a complimentary cleaning of everywhere the air transfers throughout your furnace, including the furnace blower, blower housing, plenum, main trunk lines and all of the associated duct work. Our technicians will also provide you with a free furnace filter, as long as your furnace is standard size.

Are you normally home and available throughout the week? I currently have availability on (two options) with an arrival time of sometime between (arrival time). Which would you prefer?

I have scheduled your duct cleaning appointment for (date) with an arrival time of sometime between (arrival time). We will call you back the day of your appointment sometime between (window of time set) to narrow down the arrival time to a two hour window and also let you know the name of your technicians who will arrive. If you could please ensure the driveway is clear as well as the area around the furnace, that would be appreciated. Our technicians will accept Debit, Visa and MasterCard and they the mobile machine with them for your convenience.
